Message from the Village Manager, Debi Lee
Thank you for visiting the Village of Ruidoso website. We are proud to provide excellent services which are reflected in the information you will find in our various web pages. As an organization, we work as a team to foster a proactive, responsive and effective municipal government. Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life for citizens by being responsible stewards of the public trust and delivering outstanding services. We strive to be a safe and friendly community doing our part to preserve the natural beauty, aesthetics and ambience for all citizens to enjoy.
The Executive Office serves as the focal point for the leadership and direction of the Village Departments and the delivery of services. The office works closely with the Mayor and Village Council to ensure that Village programs and operations reflect policy goals and objectives established by the Village Council. The Village Manager is appointed by the Village Council and coordinates the implementation of the Village Council policy decisions and the initiation of all intergovernmental operations of the Village. This includes administering the planning, the development, the coordination and monitoring of programs and projects to ensure they meet the physical, social and cultural needs of the citizens of the Village of Ruidoso.
Effective Leadership is necessary to manage the Village of Ruidoso. As the Village Manager, we are committed to thinking strategically with clear vision and a focus on relationship building. It is imperative to have a balanced approach through strategic management so we can ensure that we transform change in a manner that will create success and benefit to Village of Ruidoso.

The Village of Ruidoso will provide responsible government services which are professional and fiscally sound, and achieved in collaboration with its citizens to create a high quality of life for current and future generations that fosters sustainable economic diversity that encourages year-round populations, enhances community identity by preserving historical and cultural assets, creates a healthy and safe environment, maintains a healthy ecosystem, provides sustainable growth and redevelopment and allows for a variety of living and educational opportunities for all of its citizens
