Current Fire restrictions
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
FIRE RESTRICTIONS
FOR
THE VILLAGE OF RUIDOSO
Effective: 05/02/2011
In accordance with the EXTREME fire danger we are experiencing, the following measures have been posted as
LEVEL III RESTRICTIONS:
- No charcoal briquets or outdoor burning stoves on any public or private property
- No gas grills allowed except as follows:
Located on an open deck or patio
Located in an open structure such as a gazebo
Located on a paved or gravel area at least 10 feet in diameter
A permanently installed grill
- No outdoor smoking on public or private property
- Fireworks are restricted by state law
Citations will be issued - No exceptions - No warnings
We will notify the public immediately of any changes. Thank you for your cooperation.
