The Ruidoso Police Department is a progressive, full-service police/public safety organization providing 24-hour, 365-day  police, animal control service, and radio telecommunications support for local, county, and state police, fire, and emergency medical services.  The department's personnel are recognized as some of the best-trained and qualified public service personnel in the state.
