Boards and commissions fall under the purview of the Village of Ruidoso and are either mandated by law or created by the Village Council in response to the need or desire of community members. Commissions consist of appointed community members according to each commission's bylaws. Commission members then make recommendations based on Village Code and/or Best Management Practices in conjunction with the group's focus and mandate. Village staff supports each commission's mission with relevant and professional input as requested.
