On 03-19-10, an unkown male entered apartment F-1 at Camelot Apts., located at 210 Camelot Dr, and shot 18 year old Iesha Gallegos. Iesha Gallegos died two weeks later as a result of her injuries. Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and court bind-over of the perpetrator(s). The Ruidoso Police Department has received an increase in Fraud/Scams by unknown individuals attempting to get victims to cash business checks and then wire the money to overseas locations. The victim usually gets 10 to 25% of the cash from the check. However, these checks are forged and the victim ends up having to pay the amount wired.
