Partial Evacuation Orders Lifted in McBride Fire, April 15 at 7:00 pm

Evacuation orders are being lifted in the green area within the black line including:

Moon Mountain Area: High Loop, Lupin, Starlight, Old Lincoln, Nogal Place etc.

East of Hull: McBride, Snowcap, Timberline, etc.

The areas in blue remain under mandatory evacuation along with the areas in the county not shown on this map including:

Homestead Acres/Lower Eagle Creek/Fawn Ridge

Rancho Ruidoso Valley Estates, Deer Valley, Deer Park, and Alto East of Flute Player.

The Ruidoso Convention Center remains open and the Red Cross and Salvation Army are on scene to provide hot meals, water, and support to evacuees. T-mobile is also offering mobile phones.

Please be aware that Zia Natural Gas is available to help turn gas back and relight pilots from 8 a.m. - to 8 p.m. You can call them at 575-378-4277.

As re-entry begins into some areas of the McBride Fire, please be aware of unexpected hazards. If you do not live in these areas, please give residents room to assess their homes and damage to their properties.
