Ruidoso hosts the 2026 Outdoor Economics Conference October 14–16 at the Ruidoso Convention Center. This statewide event brings together leaders from government, tribal communities, and the outdoor industry to explore recreation, economic development, land management, and environmental stewardship across New Mexico.

Residents can hear program updates, ask questions about housing recovery assistance and the application process, and provide feedback. The program supports eligible disaster-impacted households in Lincoln and Chaves Counties.

Register for the Full Moon Night excursion hosted by Ruidoso Parks & Recreation. This fee-based trip includes round-trip transportation from Ruidoso to White Sands National Park. Event timing is subject to change. Sign up through the official Parks & Rec catalog online.
