Join the Time Turner History Book Club for its July meeting at the Ruidoso Public Library. This month’s discussion features Founding Brothers: The Revolutionary Generation by Joseph J. Ellis, which brings to life the vital issues and personalities from the most important decade in our nation’s history. Meet on July 9, 2026, at 12:30 pm in the Library Conference Room. Wingfield Heritage House Museum will participate in the 2026 Cloudcroft Museum Fest on Saturday, July 18, from 10 AM–4 PM at the ice rink in Cloudcroft. The free public event will feature more than 20 museums and heritage organizations from across Southern New Mexico, along with exhibits, demonstrations, local history displays, and family-friendly activities.

Join Wingfield Heritage House Museum for Boots & Brands: An Old West Family Day. This free family event features gold panning, leatherworking, cattle branding crafts, a shooting gallery, games, and hands-on activities celebrating the spirit and traditions of the American frontier.
Register for the Full Moon Night excursion hosted by Ruidoso Parks & Recreation. This fee-based trip includes round-trip transportation from Ruidoso to White Sands National Park. Event timing is subject to change. Sign up through the official Parks & Rec catalog online.

Celebrate the beauty of fall at AspenFest 2026 in Ruidoso on October 3. This annual community festival is expected to feature a Midtown parade, live entertainment, food and drinks, family-friendly activities, and an after-party at Wingfield Park. Event schedules and additional details will be announced as they become available.

Ruidoso hosts the 2026 Outdoor Economics Conference October 14–16 at the Ruidoso Convention Center. This statewide event brings together leaders from government, tribal communities, and the outdoor industry to explore recreation, economic development, land management, and environmental stewardship across New Mexico.
