The office of the Village Clerk accepts, files, records, and maintains all municipal records for Ruidoso. The office also sells various licenses and permits to the public and can notarize and attest documents.

The Open Meeting Law requires that public meetings of the Village Clerk's Office and bodies are open to the public, with some exceptions.
You can view upcoming meetings on our Council Agendas Database Portal. Meetings posted by the Village Clerk's Office are also available at Village Hall, 313 Cree Meadows Drive, Ruidoso.

The public can access all records unless the record is exempted by law.

The Open Meetings Act requires a public body to make the agenda of a regular or special meeting available to the public at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting and to post meeting agendas on a public body’s website if one is maintained.

Chapters, articles, divisions, and sections organize the Municipal Code. The Municipal Code is updated as the Village Council adopts new ordinances.

The Village Clerk’s office in Village Hall at 313 Cree Meadows Drive, Ruidoso, NM 88345 is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
