For those looking to help people affected by the McBride and Nogal Canyon wildfires, the Community Foundation of Lincoln County Shelter Fund supports victims and is accepting donations.
The Shelter Fund was started by an anonymous benefactor after the Little Bear Fire to lend financial assistance to local residents who've been displaced due to fire, flood, or other natural disasters.
Applications can be downloaded or submitted online on the CFLC website. Donations can also be sent through PayPal, mailed in, or dropped off in person at Condotel.
