Village of Ruidoso steering committee seeks public input on Moon Mountain Recreation Area plan

Ruidoso residents are asked to provide feedback on a long-range Moon Mountain outdoor recreation plan. The public can share their input via an online survey (in English or Spanish) and virtual attendance via Zoom at the next Steering Committee meeting at 4 PM on April 6, 2022. Ruidoso Trails Project Update

The following reports summarize project scope and status for the Ruidoso Trails Project consisting of the construction a new Cree Meadows Trail on the north side of Cree Meadows Drive from Mechem (NM 48) to the Links Trail; the rehabilitation of the existing Links Trail around the Links at Sierra Blanca golf course, and the creation of multi-use recreation trails at Moon Mountain Recreation Area.

Virtual ZOOM Public Meeting Scheduled for June 3, 2020 about Cree Meadows, Moon Mountain, and Links Trail Projects

The Village of Ruidoso will hold a joint virtual public meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm for the Cree Meadows Trail Project, Links Trail Rehabilitation Project, and the Moon Mountain Trail Project.

Moon Mountain Disc Golf Course Now Open To The Public

The all-new Moon Mountain Disc Golf Course officially opened to the public on Monday, November 4, 2019. The high-alpine, championship-level course features an 18-hole, par 63 at 8072 feet for short pins and 8970 feet for long pins and uses the Score Application for specifics on each hole including distance and PAR.

Open House Scheduled to Review Moon Mountain Recreation Master Plan
