After a wildfire, private wells can be contaminated and unsafe to use for drinking water and other purposes. If you are a private well owner, the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) and New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) will provide FREE private well water quality testing on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM at the Ruidoso Swimming Pool, 515 Sudderth Drive, Ruidoso, NM 88345. WATER PRODUCTION REPAIRS CAUSING WATER INTERRUPTION NEAR THE ALTO WATER TREATMENT PLANT

On Wednesday, March 17, 2021 starting at 8am, crews will be working on a water valve at the alto water treatment plant that will interrupt the water supply to the residents on Via Aguila, Via Selva, and the Northern side of upper Gavilan adjacent to Via Selva. Water Outage for Malone Rd. Waterline Replacement Project Tie-In

Beginning on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at 9:00 AM the contractor for the waterline replacement project for the Village of Ruidoso will begin the waterline tie-in. Village of Ruidoso Begins Additional Sewer Surveys

Beginning September 12, 2019, the Village of Ruidoso will be undertaking additional topographic and boundary surveys for the Mitigation Phase of the ongoing FEMA sewer line rehabilitation project.  The Village has contracted with both Precision Surveys and Terra Land Surveys for these services. Survey crews will be in vehicles that will be clearly marked as Precision Surveys or Terra Land Surveys, and individuals will have safety vests during their working operations to assist property owners in identifying them.
