Village of Ruidoso Insider - Volume 51: November 2025

Holiday Spirit & Community Gratitude

This month’s issue opens with a Thanksgiving message from Mayor Lynn Crawford celebrating Ruidoso’s holiday magic, community warmth, and enduring resilience. The Mayor honors Village Manager Ron Sena, recently named City Manager of the Year by the New Mexico Municipal League, and recognizes Public Works Director Adam Sanchez for 25 years of dedicated service to Ruidoso.

Inside, you’ll find Village Council updates, employee and department recognitions, and seasonal safety guidance from the Fire and Public Works Departments to help residents prepare for winter. Community highlights include the Ruidoso Public Library earning Department of the Quarter, the 35th Annual Christmas Jubilee, and updates on Elk Meadows Apartments, the village’s new workforce housing project.

We also spotlight Ruidoso Municipal Schools’ community forum on student success, Midtown’s festive fall events and upcoming Christmas Mixer, ENMU–Ruidoso’s Adult Educator of the Year award, and Lincoln County Medical Center’s health tips for respiratory season.

From the Festival of Lights Parade to Christmas in the Park and the Turkey Trot 5K, November in Ruidoso is filled with celebration and community spirit.
