A new NM public health emergency order, which will take effect Thursday, March 19, prohibits gatherings of more than 10 people and includes newly mandated closures and restrictions.

Unofficial Village of Ruidoso Municipal Officer Election Results March 3, 2020

On the ballot for the 2020 Municipal Election on March 3, 2020, will be a question asking voters to authorize $3 million of general obligation bonds. All registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the Ruidoso Village limits may vote on the bond question. This is a continuation of the Water Infrastructure Improvement Bond Program that was designed to set the mill levy rate (property tax rate) at a rate to ensure a continual approval of $3 million at each election. By getting voter approval on a GO Bond every two years, residents can continue the Water Infrastructure Improvement Program without increasing their property taxes.

Beginning February 17, 2020, through February 20, 2020, at 6:00 pm until Midnight each day, the Village of Ruidoso will be performing maintenance on the main sewer lines on Mechem and Sudderth Drives. Please look for signs indicating which lane will be closed. Approach the area with caution at a very slow speed and watch for employees directing traffic.
