The Village of Ruidoso Emergency Management, in partnership with The Salvation Army, will host an in-person Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) volunteer training on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
The morning session, Intro to EDS (8:30–10:30 AM), is designed for new volunteers and covers the fundamentals of Emergency Disaster Services.
The afternoon session, EDS Operations (10:30 AM–4:30 PM), is for established volunteers seeking more in-depth operational training. Completion of Intro to EDS is required to attend the Operations session.
The training will be held at the Village of Ruidoso Emergency Operations Center.
