The Village of Ruidoso invites community partners and stakeholders to attend the second partnering meeting for the Rio Ruidoso Watershed Based Plan Project. Funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), this initiative supports the Village’s commitment to restoring and sustaining a healthy, vibrant Rio Ruidoso for the benefit of residents, businesses, and future generations.
This meeting will provide an update on project progress since the initial partnering session held on September 23, 2025. Village staff and project team members will share current developments, outline collaboration opportunities, and gather feedback to help guide the next phase of the plan.
Event Schedule:
5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Project Update Presentation
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Open Forum and Discussion
During the open forum, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, share insights, and discuss potential partnerships. A brief survey will also be distributed to collect additional input.
Agenda Includes:
• Welcome and Introductions
• Review of Watershed-Based Plan status and developments
• Discussion of collaboration areas and synergies
• Identification of key initiatives and recommendations
• Action items and timeline
