Utility Outage Tips:
During a winter power outage in New Mexico, prepare by unplugging electronics and covering windows to conserve heat.
Stay indoors and dress in layers, using flashlights for light instead of candles.
During the outage, keep refrigerators and freezers closed to keep food cold, and never use generators or stoves indoors due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Report outages to PNM via text #OUT to 78766, online at PNM.com/outage, or by calling 888-DIAL-PNM.
