What Participation Involves
Working Together Before Emergencies Happen
Flood SAFE Partners complete an orientation with Village Emergency Management and agree to support preparedness efforts throughout the community.
Complete Program Training
Participate in Flood SAFE Partner orientation and become familiar with official preparedness guidance, emergency resources, and program expectations.
Display the Program Logo
Use the official Flood SAFE Partner logo and materials to help the public recognize participating organizations.
Share Reliable Information
Help connect customers, visitors, and community members with official Village emergency information and preparedness resources.
Monitor Official Updates
Stay informed through Village Emergency Management communications and the Ruidoso All-Hazards Information Network.
Support Preparedness
Encourage awareness, planning, and readiness among employees, customers, visitors, and the broader community.
Use Materials Responsibly
Follow Village Emergency Management guidance when distributing preparedness messages, flyers, logos, and other program resources.
Important: Flood SAFE Partners are not emergency responders or designated emergency shelters unless separately authorized by Village Emergency Management.
