Ruidoso Comprehensive Plan Draft Open for Public Review Through November 6

October 8, 2026 (RUIDOSO, NM) — The Village of Ruidoso invites residents, property owners, businesses, and community members to review and provide feedback on the draft Ruidoso Comprehensive Plan Update. The public review period is open through November 6, 2026.

The Comprehensive Plan will help guide Ruidoso’s future planning and decision-making, addressing key community priorities including Infrastructure & Resilience, Mountain Economy, Living in Ruidoso, Adaptive Growth, Trails & Mobility, and Implementation.

Community members can visit PlanRuidoso.com to:

• Review and download the full draft Comprehensive Plan

• Submit comments directly through the project website

• Learn more about the Comprehensive Plan update and planning process

Printed copies of the draft Comprehensive Plan are available through the Village of Ruidoso Community Development Department at 313 Cree Meadows Drive, Ruidoso, NM 88345.

Please call 575-258-6999 or email CommunityDevelopment@ruidoso-nm.gov in advance to reserve a printed copy for pickup.

Community participation is an important part of the Comprehensive Plan process. Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to review the draft and provide comments before the November 6 deadline.
