Grant Opportunity Supports Small Business Digital Growth in Post-Fire Recovery
The New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management’s Economic Recovery Team has shared information on the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Grant, a funding opportunity offering $10,000 awards to eligible small businesses working to strengthen operations and resilience following the South Fork and Salt Fires.
As part of ongoing recovery efforts, the Economic Recovery Team continues to connect local businesses with state and national programs that support rebuilding and long-term economic sustainability. The Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Grant will provide fifty $10,000 awards to eligible for-profit businesses across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
To be eligible, applicants must be for-profit businesses and complete any two short online courses or virtual events through the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready platform prior to submitting their application. The application deadline is December 10, 2025.
