Village of Ruidoso Launches Comprehensive Plan Update with Community Kickoff Meeting on November 18, 2025

The Village of Ruidoso is launching a major community initiative to update its Comprehensive Plan — the guiding framework for future growth, development, and investment.

Residents are invited to attend a Community Kickoff Meeting on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at The Horton Center, 237 Service Road. A Zoom option will also be available for those unable to join in person:

The meeting will introduce the planning team, outline project goals, and discuss the timeline for community engagement. Attendees will learn how the Comprehensive Plan affects Ruidoso’s future — from housing and land use to transportation, infrastructure, and quality of life.

This free event marks the start of an inclusive process built on resident input and collaboration. Additional engagement opportunities will follow, including a hands-on public design workshop (Charrette) scheduled for January 12–16, 2026.

Residents, business owners, and stakeholders are encouraged to participate and share their vision for Ruidoso’s future.
