SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center Opens at Ruidoso Public Library
RUIDOSO, NM (November 3, 2025)—The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced the opening of a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) at the Ruidoso Public Library, 107 Kansas City Road, to assist individuals and businesses affected by the June 23–August 5 severe storms, flooding, and landslides in Lincoln County.
The center is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is necessary. SBA customer service representatives are available to answer questions, explain the loan process, and assist residents in completing disaster loan applications.
While the deadline to apply for a physical disaster loan has passed, the SBA has extended a 60-day grace period for applications. This grace period ends December 14, 2025. The deadline to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) is April 22, 2026.
Low-interest, long-term disaster loans are available to help homeowners, renters, businesses, and nonprofits rebuild, repair, and replace damaged property. There is no payment due and 0% interest for the first year.
Applicants can apply online at sba.gov/disaster, visit the Ruidoso center during business hours, or contact SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. For telecommunications relay services, dial 7-1-1.
