Village Invites Public Participation in Bridge Replacement Project Meetings
May 29, 2026 (Ruidoso, NM) — The Village of Ruidoso is inviting residents, property owners, and community members to participate in upcoming public meetings related to the Ruidoso Bridge Replacements Project, an ongoing infrastructure recovery and improvement effort focused on bridges damaged during the 2008 flood events.
The meetings will provide opportunities for the public to review preliminary project information, learn more about the bridge replacement process, meet with the project team, and ask questions as planning and design work continues for six bridge replacement locations throughout the community.
Bridge replacement locations currently included in the project are:
McDaniel Drive
North Loop
Main Road 2
Sleepy Hollow Road
River Trail
Robin Road
Each meeting will begin with a short presentation followed by an open-house format allowing residents to speak with project representatives, review project information, and ask questions.

The project team anticipates ongoing public outreach and project updates throughout the design process. Additional project updates and future public meeting opportunities will be shared as the project progresses.
According to the current project timeline, preliminary 30% bridge designs are anticipated to be available for public review later this summer.
