Village Invites Public Input on Bridge Replacement Projects

May 29, 2026 (Ruidoso, NM) — The Village of Ruidoso is inviting residents, property owners, and community members to participate in upcoming public meetings related to the Ruidoso Bridge Replacements Project, an ongoing infrastructure recovery effort following the Summer 2024 wildfires and flooding.

The meetings will provide opportunities for the public to review preliminary project information, meet with the project team, ask questions, and provide feedback as planning and design work continues for six bridge replacement locations throughout the community.

Bridge replacement locations currently included in the project are:

  • McDaniel Drive

  • North Loop

  • Main Road 2

  • Sleepy Hollow Road

  • River Trail

  • Robin Road

The meetings will be held in an open house format with no formal presentation, allowing residents to attend at any time during the scheduled meeting hours.

The project team anticipates ongoing community engagement throughout the design process. Future public meetings, questionnaires, project updates, and opportunities to provide feedback will be posted as the project advances.

According to the current project timeline, preliminary 30% bridge designs are anticipated to be available for public review later this summer.
