Full-Service Debris Removal Available for Flooded Properties in Lincoln County
The New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) is now offering full-service flood debris removal, at no cost to private property owners in Lincoln County.
Lincoln County residents who have flood debris on their property following the floods and landslides that began June 23 are eligible for the Private Property Debris Removal (PPDR) program. Insurance coverage does not disqualify a property from the program, but the residents should notify the state of that coverage.
Property owners can sign up for PPDR in the following ways:
In person with a state Disaster Case Manager located at Disaster Resource Center located at the ENMU-Ruidoso Annex, 709 Mechem Dr., Ruidoso, NM 87345, beginning Tuesday, August 19.
