Village of Ruidoso Launches RuidosoReady.com to Help Residents Prepare, Recover, and Stay Informed

June 23, 2026 (Ruidoso, NM) — The Village of Ruidoso has launched RuidosoReady.com, a new community preparedness and recovery resource designed to help residents, businesses, and visitors better prepare for emergencies, access recovery information, and stay informed throughout the year.

Developed in partnership with Village Emergency Management and informed by lessons learned during recent wildfire, flooding, and recovery efforts, the site brings together preparedness resources, recovery information, evacuation guidance, emergency alerts, and planning tools in one easy-to-access location.

Built Through Partnership

RuidosoReady.com was developed through collaboration among local, state, and federal partners committed to strengthening community preparedness, emergency response, recovery, and resilience.

Participating and supporting partners include the Village of Ruidoso, Lincoln County, the New Mexico Forestry Division, the New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM), FEMA, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

By bringing preparedness, recovery, and resilience information together in one location, the site supports a coordinated approach to helping residents and businesses prepare for future emergencies and navigate recovery efforts when disasters occur.

The Village extends its appreciation to the many local, state, and federal partners whose collaboration, expertise, and support helped make RuidosoReady.com possible.
