The Wingfield Heritage House Museum invites the community to celebrate spring during Lula’s Garden Family Day on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
This free, family-friendly event honors Lula Robinson Wingfield, a pioneer and builder who helped establish one of Ruidoso’s historic homes and was known for her love of the land. Inspired by a historic photograph of Lula in her garden, participants will enjoy hands-on activities that connect local history with nature and creativity.
Activities include:
• Wildflower seed bombs using native New Mexico seeds
• Pressed flower bookmarks
• Vintage 1920s-style paper pinwheels
The event will be held at 2813 Sudderth Drive. Admission is free and open to all ages.
Community members are encouraged to attend and enjoy a morning of history, learning, and seasonal celebration in the heart of Ruidoso.
