The Ruidoso Police Department is now accepting applications for its Spring 2026 Citizens Police Academy (CPA). This multi-week program offers residents a behind-the-scenes look at local law enforcement operations, policies, and procedures.
Participants will meet weekly to learn directly from RPD officers and staff about patrol operations, investigations, traffic enforcement, community policing, and more. The Academy is designed to strengthen community relationships and provide insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of the Ruidoso Police Department.
Program Dates: March 5 – May 7, 2026
Schedule: Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
