Public Meeting Overview

The Village of Ruidoso is hosting a public meeting to share concepts and get feedback from the public on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at Village Hall, 313 Cree Meadows Drive.

Project Description

The Upper Sudderth Revitalization Project is a study of improvements to the section of Sudderth Drive from the intersection with Mechem Drive to the traffic circle. The Village has engaged the consulting firms of Stantec and Barr Engineering to perform studies, engage key stakeholders and the general public, and develop construction documents for the preferred design alternative. The focus of the study is improvements and modifications to this portion of Sudderth Drive to possibly include lighting, drainage, sidewalks, bike facilities, and signage. This project is funded through a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA). Funding for any potential construction has not been identified or secured; however, the Village intends to pursue grants or other funding opportunities once the construction plans are completed.
