Give your child an unforgettable week of outdoor adventure at the 2026 Rec Youth Summer Wilderness Camp. Designed for ages 7–12, this hands-on camp helps kids build confidence, learn practical outdoor skills, and develop a deeper respect for nature — all while having fun with friends.

Camp activities throughout the week include:

• Hiking & Wildlife Exploration

• Fishing & Survival Skills

• Outdoor Sports & Recreation

• Swimming & Fire Station Tour

• Field Trip to the Alamogordo Zoo & New Mexico Museum of Space History

Daily Schedule:

Drop-off: 7:30–8:00 AM

Pick-up: 1:00–1:30 PM

Field Trip Day Only:

Pick-up between 5:00–5:30 PM

Lunch is provided on the field trip day. Snacks and water/Gatorade are provided daily.
