The State Bar of New Mexico hotline connects survivors to free legal services in qualifying counties and tribal nations who cannot afford an attorney. Survivors can call 855-204-2569 or email disasterlegalservices@nmlegalaid.org. -
The State of New Mexico received a $137 million appropriation from congress though the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) fund which is administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) These funds are available to support community recovery in areas impacted by the DR-4795: South Fork Fires, Salt Fires, and Flooding and DR-4843: New Mexico Severe Storms and Flooding.
