Ruidoso Comprehensive Plan Community Survey Reopens Through August 14
August 3, 2026 (Ruidoso, NM) — The Ruidoso Comprehensive Plan Community Survey has reopened through Friday, August 14, 2026, providing another opportunity for residents, property owners, business owners, community organizations, and other stakeholders to help shape the Village’s future.
If you have not yet completed the survey, we encourage you to take a few minutes to share your thoughts. Community feedback will help inform the Village’s updated Comprehensive Plan—a long-range guide that will help shape future decisions about housing, transportation, economic development, parks and recreation, infrastructure, land use, and other priorities that affect our community.
About the Ruidoso Comprehensive Plan
The Ruidoso Comprehensive Plan is the Village’s long-range planning document that helps establish a shared vision for the community’s future. Developed with input from residents, businesses, community organizations, and other stakeholders, the plan provides guidance for future decisions about growth, housing, transportation, economic development, parks and recreation, infrastructure, public services, and the preservation of the qualities that make Ruidoso unique.
Community participation is an essential part of the planning process, helping ensure the Comprehensive Plan reflects the priorities and aspirations of the people who live, work, and invest in Ruidoso.
Why Participate?
The Community Survey is one of the primary ways residents and stakeholders can help shape the Village’s future. According to the project materials, the survey:
Takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Is open to residents, workers, and community members.
Helps inform priorities and recommendations for the Village’s new Comprehensive Plan.
Already completed the survey?
The survey questions and content have not changed. If you previously completed the Community Survey, you do not need to submit another response. The survey has been reopened to encourage additional participation from community members who have not yet had the opportunity to provide feedback.
