Village of Ruidoso Announces Top Capital Priorities for 2026 ICIP and Legislative Session
The Village of Ruidoso has released its list of the Top 10 capital projects included in the 2026 Infrastructure Capital Improvements Plan (ICIP), along with the Top 5 priorities that will be submitted for capital outlay funding during the upcoming New Mexico legislative session.
Under the State of New Mexico’s Property Control Act, capital outlay funding may be used for the acquisition, improvement, alteration, or reconstruction of long-term assets—such as land, buildings, equipment, and major infrastructure. These funds cannot be used for operating expenses, salaries, supplies, events, or printed materials.
The ICIP is an essential tool for long-range planning, helping the Village identify, sequence, and advocate for projects that strengthen community resilience, public safety, and quality of life.
