Workforce Housing Update: Progress Continues at 603 Mechem Drive
November 24, 2025, (Ruidoso, NM)—Construction is moving forward at the 603 Mechem Drive workforce housing project, with key site improvements now nearing completion. Rymarc Construction recently wrapped up work on the driveway, and White Sands Construction has returned to the site to continue the next phase of development.
Crews are currently installing concrete curbs, building rock swales around the retaining walls, and finalizing drainage improvements to support long-term site stability. Work is also underway on the detention pool, an essential component of the property’s water management system.
All major utilities—gas, water, sewer, and electrical—have now been installed. Once manufactured housing permits are finalized and electrical meters are in place, contractors will complete the remaining punch-list items.
