Community Review - Lincoln County Multi-jurisdictional Hazard Plan 2023 Update

UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 5, 2023: Thank you to those who provided comments submitted in July through the feedback survey. Based on your input, the Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) will be a more useful tool for all six participating communities. The Planning Team vetted the comments, integrated changes into the draft, and finalized the document with the New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Lincoln County residents are stakeholders in the Hazard Mitigation Planning process. Your experiences with previous natural hazard events are critical to understanding our vulnerability across Lincoln County, New Mexico. As we continue with the 2023 HMP update, your voice and ideas will help us continue on a path forward.

  1. The next opportunity to get involved with the planning process is to participate in the plan adoption public hearings anticipated for November 2023.
