Lincoln County and partner agencies will host a public meeting at ENMU–Ruidoso to share information about the NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection Program (EWP) and voluntary property buyout options following the South Fork Fire and 2024 flooding.
Residents will have the opportunity to learn more about eligibility, the participation process, potential impacts, and next steps, as well as ask questions and provide input.
This meeting is especially relevant for property owners in flood- or erosion-impacted areas, residents affected by recent flooding, and community members interested in recovery efforts.
