Over a million people visit Ruidoso every year, from every state and many foreign countries. The mountain scenery, crisp air, and tranquility draw people to our small community. Caring for the land and serving the people is the goal for each Forest Service unit. Both require dedicated employees, but even more importantly these days, partnerships.
